Raspberries belong to the rose family. They are similar to the blackberry, since the fruit grows in bushes. They have a sweet and mild flavor. They are also known as "aggregate fruit" because each raspberry consists of more than 100 drupes that are organized around a hollow cavity. These drupes are small red fruit each holding a tiny seed inside.
